ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Any person who shows serious intent and good character and is at least sixteen (16) years of age or a high school graduate under eighteen (18) must have a parent or legal guardian consent that he or she may be a candidate for enrollment in the nail program. Proof of age is required. All candidates for admission must have a personal interview with the director, administrator, or owner of Rossie Nail Tech School. The student’s educational background and working experience, if any, will be discussed.

Any student who has prior training will be assessed on an individual basis by the director and will be awarded credit accordingly, but for no more than 75% of the program hours. Credit from other institutions will be evaluated but will only be accepted if it matches the content of courses offered at Rossie Nail Tech School, to be decided solely by the Chief Administrative Officer. Any student wanting to transfer credits to other institutions will be subject to the discretion of that institution.

To have credits transferred to another institution, students must make a request with three (30) days’ notice, and transcripts will be prepared accordingly.

A student will be allowed to take a tour of the school to see how the school functions before enrollment. Students are encouraged to do this to determine their level of commitment and financial obligation. A copy of the school catalog is also available prior to enrollment.
